Sophie

I'm Sophie, the founder of Wholesome Hounds. I am 26 and live on the Surrey Hampshire border. I adore the outdoors, rain or shine and love nothing more than exploring new walks with my family.

Up until recently I have worked as an Animal Welfare Manager within rescue & rehabilitation and am now setting out on my own to build up a dog walking business.
I have the long term goal of setting up as a Home - From - Home dog boarder, to provide a nicer alternative to kennels, for dogs that do not cope in that environment.

I am hugely big on animal enrichment and try to incorporate this into all my walks.

Muley

I'm Muley - the inspiration for Wholesome Hounds! I am a rescue dog, although my mum likes to remind me that means I am just a 'normal' dog, I just sometimes have a different thought process - whatever that means!

I am a German Shorthaired Pointer Cross, who is not as much of a fan of all weathers like my mum, I much prefer the sunshine.

I help mum by reviewing all of the walks she takes me on, so you can rest assured that all walks your pets go on are Muley-Approved!

Mum has helped me overcome a lot of things that worried me initially, hopefully she can help more dogs like me in time.
